sooo i got my nails done yesterday, which was pretty nice. and i went to sherry's house before that... we ate yummy jello stuff, went to the park, played ping pong, and had a mini "fight." haha, it was lots of fun. then i had tennis last night, and the weather was so cool, unlike last week, when it was freaking 94 degrees! i have tennis again tonight, and it's still cool, so it should be comfortable.
anyway, i'm leaving for china tomorrow morning at 7:30am! we're staying for two and a half weeks. i'm already mostly packed, but i still have a lot left to pack. i can't wait to see our family and go shopping and all, but i'm so not looking forward to the thirteen-hour plane ride. i hate going on planes!! but at least there will be movies, unlike the plane ride to hawaii. plus, i have a lot to read: i have to finish the secret life of bees and try to get through as much of the adventures of ibn battuta as i can... i doubt i'll even get to start things fall apart yet.
so yeah, that was just a short update on these last few days. and finally, goodbye america!
